  4. 1 cup butter
  5. 1 cup brown sugar
  6. 2 eggs

  8. Stir in:
  9. 1/2 teaspoons salt
  10. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  11. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  12. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  13. 2 cups flour
  14.  
  15. Blend to a fine powder
  16. 2 1/2 cups mothers oats
  17. 2 cups chocolate chips
  18. 1/2 of a Hershey bar
  19.  
  20. Optional: 1 1/4 cup nuts
  21.  
  22. Mix the above, place golfball size cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.  cook at 325-250 for 10-13 minutes.
